A portion of anime fans concurred with the poll’s outcome and provided justifications for backing the argument. While the other two series may have had a greater impact on certain regions, Kohei Horikoshi’s work was unanimously acclaimed and widely popular worldwide.

Additionally, a fan recounted their personal encounter during the peak of this series. The show was so popular that it caused people to purchase subscriptions for Crunchyroll and overloaded its servers, indicating its significant influence. The fan also shared witnessing acts of heroism and credited the series for inspiring them.

“Demon Slayer had a bigger impact in Japan. JJK had a bigger impact in the west. MHA quickly became mainstream and gained a lot of new Anime fans. Overall MHA and it’s not even close”a fan said.

“There was a time when MHA Eps where crashing Crunchy Roll and leading to there paid subscriptions sky rocketing. They had Deku as the face of all there platforms. Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen definitely took it to the next level but there is a whole generation of Anime watchers that MHA was their first or first Favorite Anime. So id give it MHA if we talking totality/butterfly effect levels of influence,”another fan claimed.

“So I would say MHA for a very specific reason. I remember seeing stories about people who put themselves in danger to help other people and then cited MHA as a reason why,”another one tweeted.

Despite the results, a group of fans remained unconvinced. They argued that the influence of Jujutsu Kaisen is immeasurable, citing the constant online discussions and mentions of the series as evidence.

The opposing viewpoint argued that Demon Slayer holds more impact than any other series, citing its multitude of highly cosplayed characters and its appeal to new fans as evidence.

“JJK is the only one I see memes of in places where anime is not the focus, it’s the only one I hear modern day school children talk about, it’s the only one I hear people reference moves from and make up their own for,”a fan claimed.

“I see jjk everywhere,”another fan tweeted.

“Demon Slayer, the amount of cosplayers and the anime gear. And it’s an easy first anime for people to get into,”another one claimed.

Final thoughts
