The leaked My Hero Academia One-Shot manga spoilers were intended to unveil the events leading up to the upcoming movie. Based on the one-shot, it appears that My Hero Academia: You’re Next will be set immediately following the Star and Stripe Arc, specifically during the U.A. Traitor Arc.
The release date for My Hero Academia: You’re Next movie has been confirmed for Friday, August 2, 2024. This highly anticipated film will feature a brand new storyline that is not found in the manga. Fans will also be introduced to the formidable new antagonists, Dark Might and the Gorini family.

My Hero Academia One-Shot: Class 1A’s Relentless Capture of Villains
The opening of My Hero Academia One-Shot spoilers featured a narration that revealed the story took place just after Izuku Midoriya’s return to U.A. High School. In the midst of the ongoing conflict between heroes and villains, Japan had descended into chaos, with the heroes honing their skills in the aftermath of the epic battle between Shigaraki Tomura and Star and Stripe.
Despite the heroes’ hard work in catching the escaped villains and evacuating civilians, they seemed to be making little progress. The students were then observed discussing how they could divide their efforts in order to capture the villains more effectively.
After being spoiled by the One-Shot of My Hero Academia, it was revealed that the students had arrived at a new location. They commented on how easy it would be for villains to hide in such a place. All Might then reached out to Deku to inquire about their progress in capturing villains. Deku reassured him that everything was going smoothly with everyone’s assistance.
Immediately after, All Might notified Deku that he would be departing for U.A. High School and keeping an eye on the students. Deku politely requested that All Might take a well-deserved break. Following this, Tenya Iida proposed that all the students also take a break. While the majority of students were in agreement, Katsuki Bakugo declared that he did not require a break and could continue without one.
Bakugo beckoned Deku over, declaring “All Might is keeping an eye on us. I will surpass you, Izuku.”Kirishima, Mina, and Deku were all taken aback by Bakugo using Deku’s name. However, Shoto Todoroki didn’t mind, as he knew they were childhood friends. In response, Bakugo reminded everyone that they were inseparable.
Upon encountering a group of villains, the spoilers for My Hero Academia One-Shot revealed that they launched a surprise attack on the students. Despite the students’ initial confusion, they quickly regrouped and ascended to higher ground amidst the chaos. The villains taunted, “In a world like this, one cannot remain a hero for long!”
The spoilers for My Hero Academia One-Shot revealed that students quickly joined the fight and began to attack. To defend against the villains, Shoto Todoroki deployed his Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall while Deku used his Black Whip to subdue them.

“Don’t underestimate us! No matter what the situation…We won’t give up on trying to save!”
Afterwards, the manga depicts the students reaching out to the Pro Heroes to inform them that the villains had been apprehended. The pros commend their actions and alert them of another reported villain sighting.
As the events of the My Hero Academia One-Shot unfold, the students are split into three teams in order to capture villains in different areas. As they board the transportation buses, All Might can be seen stating, “The future is in their hands.”
Immediately after, the spoilers for the My Hero Academia One-Shot transition to Dark Might, who is shown watching a video of All Might at Kamino Ward with the voiceover, “Next is…”Furthermore, the spoilers reveal Julio, an original character from the movie, gazing at a photo of Anna and saying, “My lady… please.”Lastly, the spoilers depict Deku and Uraraka stating, “It’s us,”as Dark Might declares, “It’s me.”
