My Hero Academia Season 7 Interactive Maps Simplify Arc Navigation

Despite previous seasons of My Hero Academia receiving criticism for drops in quality, Season 7 has proven to be one of the most well-adapted seasons of the show. The initial focus of the season was on Star and Stripe’s attack on Shigaraki, but the main storyline being adapted is the Final War arc.

The war itself unfolds on numerous fronts scattered across Japan, creating a complex and sometimes confusing narrative. Adding to the complexity, the point of view shifts multiple times throughout the arc. Fortunately, a new interactive Battle Status map has been released to help readers keep track of the ongoing developments in the War arc.

During a discussion about the interactive map, a fan expressed their appreciation for the decision, noting that it would enhance the final arc of the manga and make it more immersive and memorable. The fan also praised the producers for their dedication to the story and its worldbuilding, citing the interactive map as evidence of their care and attention to detail.

“Literally!! It shows that they care for this universe and they are willing to explore it/worldbuild,”one fan said.

In addition, one fan also noted that Bones intends to document every significant battle on a map and create a unique visual for each, further elevating the quality of Season 7’s adaptation and solidifying it as the ultimate one.

“BONES doing a special map to follow this arc plus every major fight going to get its own key visual. My Hero Academia season 7 is being pretty well done so far,”another fan wrote.

During the discussion, a fan raised a question about how the interactive map would show Izuku’s journey across the battlefield, covering several miles. The fan also noted that the map might only display a slow-moving marker for Deku.

“I’m so excited to see how they tackle Deku travelling miles to his actual spot. I’m wondering if after this episode, there will be a new marker very slowly moving to it’s destination. Once the episode of Deku arriving drops, then the Deku marker disappears,”one fan said.

The response from fans regarding the new interactive map has been overwhelmingly positive, with the majority praising its ability to enhance the story’s clarity and immersion.
