The tenth episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia was aired on July 13, 2024. While the episode maintained its usual level of improvisation, the studio also incorporated some new and diverse scenes, resulting in a refreshing and polished episode.
The battle against the Demon Lord, All for One and TomurAFO, raged on in the following episode. Despite being injured in the previous episode, Endeavor returned with a burning determination. He believed he had defeated the villain when he incinerated him, but All for One had a surprise in store. The focus then turned to TomurAFO, who was effortlessly overpowering the heroes even without his quirk.
Despite not deviating significantly from the source material, the chapter did omit some important nuances that will be revealed in future episodes to heighten anticipation among viewers. This article will analyze and compare every element of My Hero Academia season 7 episode 10 with its corresponding chapter.

Comparing My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 10 to Its Chapters
My Hero Academia S7E10: Jiro and Tokoyami’s Continuing Attack
The tenth episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia, titled Wounded Hero! Burning Bright and True, covered the remaining portion of chapter 355, as well as chapters 356-358 and part of chapter 359. It picked up where the previous episode left off, with All for One relentlessly attacking Jiro and Tokoyami.
Jiro’s frustration grew as she held the villain responsible for causing her friends, Izuku and Aoyama, to shed tears. This provided Hawks with the perfect opportunity to strike the villain, exacerbating the injury he had previously inflicted. Tokoyami quickly followed with his own attack, shattering All for One’s mask.
The antagonist began to speculate why he was being attacked by weaker opponents, attributing it to the stolen quirks that were rebelling against him during the battle. The anime faithfully followed the events of the manga, with the production team adding their own touch by enhancing All for One’s appearance, which was a definite improvement.
Endeavor’s Epic Comeback in My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 10
After becoming frustrated with the actions of the heroes in episode 10 of My Hero Academia season 7, All for One forcefully consumed one of his stolen quirks and launched a 360-degree attack, attempting to strike all of his targets. Luckily, Endeavor recovered just in time and came to the aid of Hawks and the young heroes. With his hand at risk, Endeavor bravely charged towards the villain, unleashing a powerful flame attack.
As predicted, the villain managed to dodge the attack, causing Endeavor to become even more enraged. He refused to give up and relentlessly pursued the villain, determined to seek justice for what he had done to Toya (Dabi). Eventually, the Pro Hero was able to catch the villain and deliver a powerful Prominence Burn attack.
Despite being burned to a crisp, All for One still held an ace up his sleeve – the quirk-destroying drug created by Overhaul. He taunted Endeavor for his recklessness, but the outcome of their encounter was not revealed in the episode.
This section remained true to the manga, however, it omitted the scene where Deku receives a warning through Danger Sense while traveling to the battlefield. It is possible that the reason for this omission was to create anticipation for the potential danger that may occur.
My Hero Academia: Bakugo in Peril (Season 7, Episode 10)
The tenth episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia then returned to the flying coffin, where the heroes were facing the challenge of TomurAFO’s increasing power. However, Bakugo was well-equipped, as the latest addition to his hero suit was able to gather his explosive sweat automatically.
Once Bakugo gathered a sufficient amount, his hero suit transformed, enabling him to fire explosive rounds. He then leaped towards TomurAFO and struck him with a makeshift Howitzer Impact, utilizing his quirk and explosive perspiration. However, in the final moment of impact, TomurAFO managed to evade Bakugo’s attack by catching him.
The antagonist proceeded to strike Bakugo, as well as Mirko and Best Jeanist, with his enlarged fingers. The force of the blow left Bakugo severely wounded and bleeding, suggesting that he may have reached his breaking point. Another sequence was omitted, in which several heroes battled outside the airborne casket. Apart from that, the episode closely followed the events of the manga series.
