My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 10: Endeavor vs. All For One Reaches Climax as Shigaraki Severely Injures Bakugo

In season 7 episode 10 of My Hero Academia, the heroes continue their fight against All For One at Gunga Villa. The previous episode’s events left Hawks, Tokoyami, and Jiro injured, but Jiro refuses to back down. Just as AFO is about to attack again, his stolen Quirks revolt, a never-before-seen occurrence that he credits to the heroes’ unwavering determination.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Hawks strikes AFO’s mask, causing it to fracture. With the help of Jiro, Tokoyami and Dark Shadow persist in their attack, ultimately breaking the mask. Just as Hawks prepares to land the finishing hit, AFO gains control over the rebellious Quirks, amplifying his strength and restoring his mask.

Despite losing his right arm in the process, Endeavor rejoins the battle at this crucial moment, saving Jiro and Tokoyami. Despite his injury, the current No. 1 hero charges forward with unwavering determination to face AFO.

During My Hero Academia season 7 episode 10, a brief flashback of Endeavor’s past is shown, serving as a reminder of his unwavering determination and purpose to continue fighting. In the current time, he creates a fire limb to replace his lost arm and attacks AFO, who defends himself with a shield. Using Vanishing Jet Burn, Endeavor effectively disrupts AFO’s defenses through physical assaults, halting his efforts to steal his Quirk and lifting him into the air. Employing Prominence Burn, Endeavor successfully incinerates AFO. However, Hawks cautions Endeavor as AFO unleashes his ultimate weapon: the drug Overhaul concocted using Eri’s Rewind ability, which initiates the process of restoring AFO’s damaged body.

In episode 10 of season 7 of My Hero Academia, the story shifts to the UA Coffin in the Sky site where Bakugo, Jeanest, Mirko, and Edgeshot face off against Shigaraki and his powerful new ability, Growth. Even with Monoma and Erasurehead disabling Shigaraki’s Quirks, the heroes find themselves struggling against his overwhelming strength. Shigaraki boldly proclaims his goal to destroy the world and create a new one in its place.

Bakugo, who had grown weary of Shigaraki’s constant rambling since the events at Kamino, activates his latest support gear, the Suppressive Heavy Mobile Unit: Strafe Panzer, and rallies the other heroes to join him in attacking Shigaraki. Encouraged by Bakugo’s determination, the heroes all unite in the offensive.

Despite reflecting on his history with Deku and their vows, Bakugo is determined to surpass his limits and unleashes his ultimate attack, the Howitzer Impact: Cluster, successfully destroying Shigaraki’s growths. The story briefly shifts to the support teams and students from UA’s Business Course, who are resolute in their determination to contribute to the ultimate battle.

In the final moments of My Hero Academia season 7 episode 10, the attention shifts back to Bakugo and Shigaraki’s confrontation. Despite the tremendous strength of his attack, Bakugo expertly controls its force to prevent any unnecessary damage.

Despite Bakugo’s efforts, Shigaraki remains unharmed and acknowledges them before breaking Bakugo’s right arm to incapacitate him. He dismisses Bakugo, showing no interest in him. As other heroes quickly come to Bakugo’s aid, Shigaraki blasts them away. With severe injuries and doubts about his own abilities, Bakugo contemplates his worth in a battle against Shigaraki.

The episode ends with Shigaraki acknowledging Bakugo’s close connection with Deku and foreseeing that Deku and One For All will eventually reach the same place, as depicted by the scene of Deku heading towards the Coffin in the Sky.
