Despite the announcement that there will not be a new episode of My Hero Academia on August 10, fans can still anticipate the release of season 7, episode 13 on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:30 AM PST. Mark your calendars for this exciting new installment!

Despite the confirmation of the release date for the next episode, it has been pushed back by a week due to the broadcast of the Paris Olympics. This marks the second episode to be delayed due to the Olympics. The episode will first air on networks such as Yomiuri T.V., Nippon T.V., and its affiliates, while international viewers can watch it on streaming platforms like Netflix, Crunchyroll, BiliBili, and other services.

The previous installment showed AFO, now fully revived, joining the battle at the Gunga Villa Site against Hawks and Endeavor. Inside the U.A. Sky Coffin, Edgeshot, in a truly heroic act, decides to sacrifice himself in order to try and bring Bakugou back to life.

After airing a four-episode recap special to help fans catch up and remember previous events, Season 7 of My Hero Academia premiered in May 2024. The highly anticipated anime will consist of 21 episodes. In addition, a new movie titled My Hero Academia: You’re Next started playing in Japanese theaters yesterday. The English subbed trailer was recently released and the movie will make its North American debut in October. Fans of the manga by Kohei Horikoshi can also anticipate the final chapter, set to be released this Monday, August 5 in Japan.

About My Hero Academia

Kōhei Horikoshi is the writer and illustrator of the Japanese superhero manga series, My Hero Academia. The series has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014 and currently consists of 37 tankōbon volumes, as of February 2023.

The story centers around a quirkless boy named Izuku Midoriya and his journey to becoming the greatest Hero. Despite being born without a quirk in a world where almost everyone has one, Midoriya has always idolized heroes and their exploits since birth.
