The episode “Together with Shoji”centered on the Mutant Revolution and opened with the events unfolding at Central Hospital. Upon learning from All For One (AFO) that Kurogiri was being held there, Spinner gathered a formidable army of 15,000 Remnants and Quirk users to face the Heroes and the police.

The Mutants, who had long been mistreated by their opponents, began to feel a growing anger. Despite being kept around out of “pity”after society changed, they were still despised and feared because of their appearance. Therefore, they saw supporting Spinner as a way to further their cause and create an uproar.

Ever since gaining power from AFO, Spinner had noticeably increased in strength but was also becoming more unstable. As he prepared to strike a deadly blow with only Kurogiri by his side, Mezo Shoji’s Octoblow attack halted his actions. The sight of Shoji being attacked angered the onlookers, causing them to rush towards him. The scene then briefly shifts to a flashback, showing Shoji being ostracized and forced to leave his town for being perceived as “different.”

Despite being pinned down, Shoji pleaded with the mob, reminding them that in the past, both humans and mutants worked together to safely evacuate patients and others before the attack on Jaku Hospital. However, in this situation, the attackers had no plan, leaving the mob and Spinner in a difficult situation. The power from AFO caused Spinner to lose his ability to think clearly, causing shards to burst out of his body and transforming him into a leader-like figure with his Scalemail.

After injuring one of his hands, Shoji and Spinner proceeded to engage in a heated battle. Meanwhile, a fellow mutant was actively inciting the mob and encouraging them to continue their attack. The focus then shifts to Shoji as he takes the opportunity to educate his classmates about the harsh realities faced by mutants and the urgency for change. Despite being deeply scarred, Shoji’s determination to bring about change remained unwavering.

As Shoji fought to reason with a frenzied Spinner, Koji Koda also stepped up, tending to the mutant and encouraging the crowd. He too had experienced mistreatment, but he understood that violence was not the answer. With assistance from Present Mic, Shoji destroyed Spinner’s weapon, but the Villain was able to incite the crowd once again.
