The previous episode commenced with Froppy concluding that Toga could only replicate the Quirks of people she truly cared for, like Ochaco, allowing her to transform into Twice rather than AFO or Dabi. At Gunga Villa Site, Tokoyami and Dark Shadow held AFO at bay, relentlessly attacking him. Meanwhile, other Heroes did their best to support them. However, AFO continued to grow in strength and youth, fiercely pushing back to reach Shigaraki. Just then, Gigantomachia crashed through a mountain, launching a massive chunk of earth at AFO, with Kirishima and Shinso riding atop him. It became evident that Machia had been awakened by a high-frequency wave mimicking AFO’s voice.

Shinso was poised for this moment to brainwash Machia, but he was caught by another Villain. As Machia brushed aside Mt. Lady and prepared to deliver a devastating blow, Ashido unleashed a concentrated stream of acid, breaking through his defenses and stopping the attack. Following this, she rescued Shinso, enabling him to mimic AFO’s voice and finally take control of the beast.

At the Gunga location, the Heroes threw everything they had against a rejuvenated AFO, even using Machia to attack him. AFO quickly grasped the situation and retaliated against those on Machia’s back. However, a twist occurred as Machia began to respond to AFO, expressing his anger for having been abandoned after AFO initially took him in and cared for him. His distress escalated into fury as he charged at AFO along with the Heroes.

Near the U.A. Sky Coffin, two reporters approached the battlefield, motivated by a personal vendetta against the Villains. Despite the world abandoning Japan, they were determined to spotlight those still fighting for hope, even at the cost of their lives.

The episode concluded with a chilling scene; faced with attackers from every side, AFO unleashed a massive explosion, throwing everyone back. One by one, he took down the Heroes—Machia, Mt. Lady, Tokoyami, Dark Shadow, Hawks, and others. As the smoke cleared, he was seen restraining Hawks and stealing his Fierce Wings Quirk.
