After making a crucial discovery, Deku sets out to rescue a remorseful Aoyama and comes up with a strategy to use him as a decoy in order to draw out All For One, paving the way for the ultimate battle. This episode also unveils the identity of Toru Hagakure, the invisible girl.

Shigaraki was gravely injured during the battle, giving them a one-week extension to properly plan and prepare for their next encounter. All Might stresses the significance of utilizing this additional time wisely.
The focus then moves to the location of the villains, where we see the wounded Tomura Shigaraki alongside AFO’s main body and the remaining members of the League of Villains. AFO tries to comfort Shigaraki, who is still suffering from the consequences of absorbing New Order. AFO remarks that their minds are beginning to merge.
Dabi disagrees with his suggestion that they stay on standby until the fusion is complete. AFO cryptically mentions having “friends”before the scene cuts to U.A. High, revealing Hagakure and possibly hinting at the identity of the U.A. traitor.
Season 7, Episode 3: The U.A. Traitor is Revealed and Hagakure’s Face is Shown
In the third episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia, the focus shifts to the Class 1-A students as they train for the upcoming final battle. They collaborate on tactics to combat the villains and work on honing their abilities.
In the meantime, Deku takes a brief walk. Shortly after, Hagakure overhears a surprising conversation between Yuga Aoyama and his parents, which exposes Aoyama as the traitor of U.A., leaving Hagakure stunned.
Aoyama’s parents implore him to follow through with the most recent demand from AFO, cautioning that defiance would lead to their demise. The discussion also reveals that Aoyama had been responsible for divulging information to the villains prior to the Kamino incident.
The episode provides a brief glimpse into Aoyama’s background, uncovering that he, like Deku, was born without a quirk. Due to his parents’ arrangement with AFO, he was given a quirk, ultimately allowing AFO to control their entire family.
In season 7 episode 3 of My Hero Academia, Deku and Hagakure confront Aoyama upon discovering his true identity as the traitor. Filled with remorse, Aoyama admits to his betrayal and deems himself a “despicable villain.”
At the same time, Dabi inquires with AFO about the potential consequences for their allies if they are captured. AFO simply responds by deeming them expendable instruments.

The focus then turns to Aoyama and his family being captured and questioned by the authorities and U.A. staff, including All Might and Principal Nezu. The other members of class 1-A are stunned and saddened upon learning the reality of Aoyama’s treachery.
My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 3: Deku’s Latest Rescue Mission and the Heroes’ Path to the Final War
Despite Aoyama’s admission of being a villain in the finale of My Hero Academia season 7 episode 3, Deku reminds him of his heroic actions during the Forest Training Camp incident when he risked his own safety to rescue Bakugo and Tokoyami. Deku extends a hand to Aoyama, reminding him that his past mistakes do not define him and he still has the potential to be a hero.
Nevertheless, the police insist on safeguarding Aoyama from the AFO’s manipulation. As the episode concludes, the heroes devise a plan to initiate the ultimate battle by utilizing Aoyama as bait to draw out AFO and the other villains. Deku provides reassurance to Aoyama that he can still fulfill his dream of becoming a hero despite the dangerous circumstances.
