The third episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia covered chapters 335 to 338 (midway), focusing on the growth of Class 1-A. As previously mentioned by All Might, the once fragile students have blossomed into formidable Heroes. Class 1-A’s progress is truly impressive.

The scene opened in AFO’s cave, where Shigaraki was in agony and his comrades from the League surrounded him. As AFO and Shigaraki’s minds merged, they were faced with the revelation that they had not obtained New Order. However, they had successfully overcome a significant obstacle. Furthermore, it was discovered that one of AFO’s associates, known as a mole, was present at U.A.

The focus then shifts to Class 1-A’s training session, where the young Heroes impress with their progress. Viewers also gain further understanding of Katsuki Bakugo’s new technique, Cluster, while witnessing Shoto Todoroki’s efforts to embrace his flame side and withstand Dabi’s intense heat.

The class came together and discussed the current situation, highlighting three key points – Firstly, AFO and his crew were skilled at remaining undetected. Secondly, the previous encounter with an incomplete Shigaraki had now made him even stronger. And thirdly, the Villains had the upper hand with their surprise attack.

The setting changes once again, uncovering the true identity of the spy at U.A. High School. Toru Hagakure, who had been concealing herself in the woods, overhears a discussion between Yuga Aoyama and his parents. To everyone’s surprise, it is exposed that he had been providing the Villains with information from the very start, including during the attack on USJ. Additionally, it is revealed that Yuga was born without a Quirk and was given one by AFO, resulting in him owing a debt to him.

Just as Deku arrived, he noticed the family and shared his concern for Yuga, who seemed distressed. Yuga was merely a pawn in AFO’s control. In order to safeguard his parents, Yuga pushed them aside and aimed his Navel Laser at Deku.

However, Toru intervenes and explains that her Quirk enables her to bend and manipulate light. This is the first time viewers get to see the true appearance of the Invisible Girl. Suddenly, Deku uses Black Whip to restrain everyone, and eventually, the Aoyama family is brought before U.A. officials and All Might.

Despite the beans being spilled, Yuga still considered himself a Villain. However, Deku countered by reminding him to embrace his inner self and strive to become a Hero. As AFO’s location remained unknown, Aoyama could serve as a decoy and potentially lead them directly to him.
