My Hero Academia Season 7 has showcased several key manga moments, but one of the most overlooked occurred in Episode 16.
This season has been nothing short of spectacular for the popular superhero anime. From the thrilling opening battle featuring Shigaraki and Star and Stripe to the recent episodes, Bones has truly excelled in adapting Kohei Horikoshi’s manga.
Episode 16 delivered more exciting scenes that manga fans had eagerly anticipated, notably the much-awaited return of Gentle, who last appeared in Season 4. His entrance is as stylish as expected, marking the start of his redemption arc, and viewers are left astonished by his impactful appearance.
“THEY GAVE GENTLE THE SAUCE! Rightfully so, drink up king,” shares one Reddit user. “I’ve been looking forward to this episode all season. Tears running down my face because of Gentle. I’m so glad that his return was given the weight it deserved,” another fan comments.
Gentle’s Quirk enables him to manipulate any object as if it’s made of elastic, offering numerous opportunities for stunning visuals. He returns alongside Nagant as part of a villainous team aiming to take a stand against Shigaraki and All For One.
“The fact that Gentle Criminal received such a well-directed and well-animated hero moment was nothing short of incredible,” remarks another fan.
As we approach the climax of the storyline, Deku and Class 1-A are gearing up for the ultimate showdown against All For One and Shigaraki. Although the My Hero Academia conclusion was revealed this summer, it remains to be seen how Bones will craft the narrative.
All signs indicate that the series is in exceptionally capable hands.
