My Hero Academia Season 7: Final Star and Stripe Visual Revealed Before Premiere

On April 27, 2024, the official X account for My Hero Academia season 7 released the last character visual of the new protagonist, Star and Stripe. The first episode of the highly anticipated season is scheduled to air on May 4, 2024.

The manga series My Hero Academia, written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, has been adapted into a Shounen anime series of the same name. The animation studio Bones has produced six seasons of the anime, as well as three movie adaptations (with a fourth to be released in August 2024) and several OVA specials.

The character visual featured Cathleen Bate, the main character of season 7 who is also known as Star and Stripe. It also showcased her title as the strongest hero from the United States of America and announced the release date of the sequel, as well as the voice actress who will be portraying this hero.

Park Romi, an industry professional, will be voicing Star and Stripe. She embarked on her voice acting career in the late 1980s and gained recognition for her distinct voice. Some notable characters she has voiced include Hange in Attack on Titan, Madam Shyarly in One Piece, Temari in Naruto, Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Pakunoda in Hunter x Hunter.

The seventh season of My Hero Academia is scheduled to premiere on May 4, 2024, followed by the release of the fourth movie in Japanese theaters on August 2, 2024. The voice actors from previous seasons are confirmed to reprise their roles in season 7.

Many familiar faces will be returning for the sequel, such as Nagasaki Kenji and Nakayama Naoki who will continue their roles as directors. Kuroda Yusuke will also be back as the script composer, along with Hayashi Yuuki as the music composer. Character designers Odashima Hitomi and Umakoshi Yoshihiko will be lending their talents once again, and TK from Ling Tosite Sigure will be performing the opening song while Omoinotake will be performing the ending song.

Despite the lack of an official synopsis at the time of this article’s release, viewers can anticipate the sequel to revolve around Star and Stripe and her involvement in the battle against the antagonists of My Hero Academia.

The sixth season of My Hero Academia covered the Paranormal Liberation Front arc and the first part of the series’ final saga, the Dark Deku arc. Therefore, viewers can anticipate that the next installment will continue to adapt at least two more arcs from the series: the Star and Stripe arc, showcasing the top hero in the United States, and the U.A. Traitor arc, highlighting the speculated traitor at U.A. High School since the earlier seasons.
