My Hero Academia Chapter 423: The Future of One For All Revealed

Ever since it was revealed that One For All had the ability to store multiple quirks, it has been a crucial element in the story. As the manga progressed, it was discovered that All For One had a strange obsession with his brother and ultimately gave Yoichi a quirk that allowed him to stockpile powers.

The peculiar trait of stockpiling eventually combined with Yoichi’s latent ability to transfer quirks, resulting in the creation of One For All. Yoichi’s strong determination and commitment to justice imbued One For All with the necessary qualities to prevent it from being taken by force. Despite containing seven vestiges within it, the essence of this quirk can be traced back to Yoichi himself.

During the ultimate clash between All For One and One For All, Deku passed on the latter to the former, resulting in his physical deterioration. As this occurred, All For One encountered a vestige of Yoichi and engaged in enigmatic conversations with him. While this was intended to symbolize All For One’s final chance at redemption, Yoichi also alluded to Deku’s desire to fully master the One For All ability.

This event signified the reunion of Yoichi and All For One, as well as the demise of both individuals. It could also foreshadow Deku obtaining the ultimate version of One For All in chapter 423.

The inclusion of a new quirk for Deku or the final development of One For All would align with the current plot progression, as it has been established from the start of the story that Deku is destined to become the greatest hero.

There is a strong possibility that Deku will finally tap into his true quirk, which has been speculated by numerous fan theories. Alternatively, One For All could potentially evolve into its ultimate state, with Deku becoming its ultimate wielder.

It is highly unlikely that One For All will continue to be passed down to future generations, as its original purpose has already been fulfilled. Continuing to pass it down would only contribute to the quirk singularity theory.
