MYs in an online community expressed their disappointment upon witnessing aespa Karina being injured once again due to her inadequate stage attire.
On June 25, MYs expressed their disappointment on social media after noticing Karina’s skin chafing in real-time caused by her stage outfit.
On June 2, 2024, aespa took part in the 2024 K-WAVE Concert and showcased their latest popular songs “Supernova”and “Armageddon.”
Despite NingNing’s absence from the event due to health reasons, aespa still managed to captivate the audience with their impressive live singing and dancing abilities, adding to the lively atmosphere of the event.
Despite the level of professionalism displayed by the members, netizens later uncovered the painful experience Karina had been trying to ignore during their performance.
From the screenshots of the live performance, it was evident that the leader, dressed in a denim top, had experienced skin irritation during the initial part of the stage due to the fabric of her clothing rubbing against her skin.
Initially, the skin was merely red and irritated, but as a result of their intense dance moves, fans speculated that some skin may have been scraped off, which would have undoubtedly caused discomfort when mixed with sweat.
Upon realizing this, members of the MYs (fandom) expressed their sympathy towards Karina, acknowledging that it must have been a difficult experience for her.

Fans have also been calling for SM to replace Karina’s stylist, as this is not the first instance of the idol facing repercussions due to an unsafe stage outfit.
