Despite disbanding 5 years ago, fans can look forward to seeing MYTEEN reunite as a group in 2024 at a fan meeting.
On April 25, Lee Taevin, formerly of MYTEEN, first revealed plans to hold his solo fan meeting, “PIT-A-PAT (Tab in you) in Seoul”on May 11.
According to the details provided in his post, the event will take place at Ehwa Women’s University Samsung Hall at 1 p.m. KST and again at 6 p.m. KST.
On May 8, IOK Company, the label of Taevin, released additional information about the guests and fans were overjoyed by the announcement.
The company has announced that Lee Taevin will be joined by MYTEEN as his guest for a mini-reunion during the fanmeeting.
To provide some context, MYTEEN made their debut in 2017 under MusicWorks with members Lee Taevin, Chunjin, Eunsu, Kookheon, Shin Junseop, Song Yuvin, and Han Seul.
“Throughout their active period, they achieved respectable success and cultivated a modest yet devoted following for their tracks, “Amazing”and “SHE BAD.”However, in 2018, Taevin departed from the group to pursue his acting career.”
In spite of this, the group persisted in their promotions and gained even more support upon the addition of Kookheon and Yuvin to Mnet’s “Produce X 101.”However, in 2019, the group faced the unfortunate disbandment after the leader Eunsu announced it on his Instagram.
As soon as the news was confirmed by MusicWorks, fans of (You’ths) were genuinely saddened. They had been eagerly anticipating a group release following Kookheon and Yuvin’s completion of the competition.
Following that, they shifted their attention towards individual pursuits, with Taevin and Junseop focusing on their acting careers. Kookheon and Yuvin continued to pursue their solo paths, while Chunjin, Eunsu, and Han Seul stepped away from the limelight and resumed their normal lives.
This reunion has brought tears to the eyes of fans, who are overjoyed to see the group once more and reflect on their journey together.
Good news for international fans who are unable to attend the fanmeeting in person – Taevin has announced that it will be broadcast live through Hellolive TV.
Fans’ anticipation will be heightened as MYTEEN dancer Honey J makes a special appearance as well.
After departing from MYTEEN, Lee Taevin gained recognition as a full-fledged actor. His appearance in the popular drama “Penthouse”contributed greatly to his rise to fame.
After that, he also joined the BL industry and solidified his reputation as the main protagonist of “Love for Love’s Sake.”
