2 Days 1 Night

In the entertainment industry, many actors have contemplated dropping out when they are cast as main characters in variety shows. These actors are adored by the public, but their increasing popularity can result in a “variety image”conflict, causing viewers to pay less attention to their acting roles in dramas and films. Lee Si-eon, Lee Sang-yoon, Jeon So-min, and Um Hyun-kyung were all beloved cast members of variety shows, but ultimately decided to leave.

Running Man

Despite ongoing efforts, SBS has not yet found a replacement for Jeon So-min on their popular show “Running Man.”According to an official from the show, they are actively searching for a new member, regardless of gender, who will be a long-term addition to the team. Currently, they are in the process of recruiting and testing potential candidates. The first to join as a temporary member was Kang Hoon, but his contract only lasts for four weeks and his departure is quickly approaching.

“As “2 Days & 1 Night”celebrates its 17th anniversary and “Running Man”its 15th, the latter has faced the departure of popular actors like Song Joong-ki and Lee Kwang-soo. The absence of these beloved cast members in these long-running Korean entertainment shows has sparked curiosity about the direction they will take in order to continue their success.”
