Nadeshot responds to VCT star Boostio’s complaints about being on 100 Thieves

Nadeshot has addressed complaints from Boostio, a Valorant player for 100 Thieves, about the organization’s content demands. Boostio had described the requirements as excessive.

The second stage of VCT Americas has begun, with several teams from Masters Shanghai making their return. Leviatán and G2 were able to secure victories in their matches, but 100 Thieves suffered a narrow loss to FURIA.

As the first week of Stage 2 comes to a close, 100 Thieves is facing a precarious situation in the standings. Despite finishing fourth at the recent Masters Shanghai and winning Stage 1 of VCT Americas, they are at risk of not qualifying for the playoffs.

After their defeat in the opening week, a clip has emerged of 100 Thieves’ top player, Kelden ‘Boostio’ Pupello, expressing frustration about his busy content schedule.

“During a stream, Boostio described his recent schedule, which included 14 hours of content two days ago, four hours today, two hours on Monday, and a four-hour shoot at 7AM on the 25th.”

“By the way, 100T does not want us to win. Winning is of no importance to them and they do not care at all. In fact, it’s all just for the sake of content.”

Following the spread of the clip, Nadeshot, founder of 100 Thieves, addressed Boostio’s grievances on his own stream. He argued that while the week in question was exceptionally busy, any issues should have been dealt with internally.

“According to Nadeshot, the content schedule for a particular week may have been overloaded, causing the team to work at a faster pace than usual. However, he clarifies that he needs more information to fully understand the situation, as they have never intentionally overwhelmed their players with content shoots.”

Nadeshot explained that he wasn’t bothered by Boostio’s public complaints, as he understands that Boostio is passionate about winning and is not afraid to express his strong opinions – a trait that Nadeshot admires.

Nadeshot expressed his strong support for Boostio and his desire for him to be content with 100 Thieves. He found it confusing how they went from winning the previous playoffs to playing in Shanghai and now hearing Boostio say on stream that he doesn’t mind being dropped and is not afraid of anyone’s opinion.

“It seems like this situation has suddenly shifted, and I am trying to understand how we could have ended up going in a different direction.”

Despite being largely satisfied with Boostio, Nadeshot offered some constructive criticism for improvement. He suggested that Boostio could “work on his tone”and also expressed a preference for going through the proper channels beforehand.
