Based on a June 25th report by SPOTV News, it has been confirmed that Nam Joo-hyuk will be starring in the upcoming drama titled “Donggung.”
“Donggung”depicts the tale of a ghost hunter and a court lady who venture into the deep and mysterious palace to face a variety of paranormal beings and unravel the situation at hand.
PD Choi Jung-kyu, known for his sensuous directing style in hit dramas such as “Hwajung”, “Flower in Prison”, “Children of Nobody”, “The Devil Judge”, and “Soundtrack #2”, will once again showcase his talents as the director of this upcoming drama.
Goo Cheon, portrayed by Nam Joo-hyuk, is a ghost hunter known for his slight arrogance. He possesses a unique skill of transforming into a ghost and using his sword to eliminate other spirits.
As Nam Joo-hyuk’s discharge from the military approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating his new transformation in the dark fantasy action drama “Donggung”.
In March of last year, Nam Joo-hyuk began his military service as a member of the military police task force. He is expected to complete his service and be discharged this September. Following his discharge, fans in both Korea and overseas are eagerly anticipating his acting comeback in “Donggung”.
