Naruto Creator’s Upcoming Manga Will Not Be Released in the Near Future

Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, has announced that he is currently working on a new project, but he is taking his time to carefully develop it.

Naruto, widely regarded as one of the greatest anime of all time, remains a prominent force in the 2000s. Along with One Piece and Bleach, it is considered a top manga series and has enjoyed immense success in both print and on screen. Even with the newest addition to the franchise, Boruto Two Blue Vortex, Naruto continues to thrive and hold its place as a beloved series.

Masashi has occasionally strayed from the world of ninjas, but for the most part it has been his main source of creative expression within the Naruto universe. However, during an interview with Boruto illustrator Mikio Ikemoto for the French publication Kana, he hinted that this could potentially change in the future.

“When asked about a new manga, he responds by saying that it’s a challenging question. He explains that while he does have a goal in mind, spending time with his family is the most crucial aspect. He expresses his love for interacting with fans and hopes to have more opportunities to do so. He believes that these interactions provide him with the motivation and drive to create new works.”

Despite the allure of potential ideas and stories that could come to fruition, it is equally important for him to prioritize spending time with his family. The intense dedication he put into working on Naruto for an extended period of time undoubtedly took a toll on those close to him.

Despite the demanding nature of the manga and anime industry, creatives and their families often face strain due to long working hours. However, with Two Blue Vortex operating on a monthly schedule, Masashi will have the opportunity to spend more time with his loved ones. While this may result in a longer wait for his next creative project, it is a welcome trade-off for a better work-life balance.
