SM Entertainment has provided an update on Renjun’s health status and upcoming activities. The company shared that the idol’s involvement in NCT DREAM’s upcoming world tour in North America will be limited due to his health condition.
SM Entertainment released a statement on August 9, providing an update on Renjun’s health and schedule. The company stated that the idol has been given sufficient time to rest and is now dedicated to recuperating, resulting in significant improvement.
S.M. revealed that Renjun had participated in the production of NCT DREAM’s upcoming U.S. single “Rains in Heaven.”The single is scheduled for release on August 23, and Renjun will be featured in the content. However, his involvement will be restricted based on medical recommendations.
The agency announced that Renjun will not be able to participate in NCT DREAM’s upcoming “THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAM()SCAPE”in the U.S.S.M. due to his current condition. However, they reassured fans that his involvement in the concert will be evaluated based on his recovery progress and updates will be provided at a later date. The agency also expressed gratitude to Renjun’s supporters and promised to assist him in his return to NCTzens.

Renjun, who has halted his activities due to health reasons, took a well-deserved rest and focused on his recovery. His condition is improving significantly.
As a result, Renjun participated in the production of NCT DREAM’s U.S. single ‘Rains in Heaven,’ which will be released on August 23 and he will be present in other related content.

On April 13, SM Entertainment announced the cancellation of Renjun’s activities due to health concerns, preventing him from attending NCT DREAM’s NHK “Venue 101″in Japan and fan-meeting in Weidian, China. According to SM, the idol is focused on recovering his health.
This was later followed by another announcement on April 20, stating that Renjun’s physical health and anxiety symptoms had been “worsening,”according to SM. At that time, Renjun had also sought medical attention and was advised to take a break.
