NCT Renjun’s Alleged ‘Sasaeng’ Reports Idol to Police + Asks for Public Apology After THIS

A supposed sasaeng disclosed that they had reported NCT Dream’s Renjun to the authorities and had even demanded a public apology from him. What transpired?

Lately, Renjun has been expressing his frustration over the constant invasion of his privacy by fans. He has taken legal measures to combat the malicious comments made by online users and has also issued warnings on Bubble.

On June 20th, the celebrity sparked controversy when he publicly exposed the phone number of an alleged sasaeng (obsessed fan) who had called him on his personal line.

After that, NCTzens expressed their outrage towards the sasaeng, condemning her for not respecting the idol’s boundaries and questioning how she managed to obtain Renjun’s contact information.

On the same day, the sasaeng in question spoke out through her friend’s X, refuting accusations of being a stalker and asserting that she is actually a victim.

In her statement, she denied being a fan of any idol or celebrity and explained that she had simply misdialed while trying to call her friend A.

During their call, she was perplexed when a man answered and inquired if the number belonged to their mutual friend, A, or if it had been changed.

The aforementioned sasaeng, who insisted she had no knowledge of calling Renjun, clarified that she had only made one call before realizing her mistake and stopped immediately.

Despite Renjun’s warning that he would report her number, she paid little attention and proceeded to call A’s correct number.

Following their conversation, she became perplexed as to the reason for receiving multiple calls and offensive messages from both local and international numbers.

Nonetheless, her initial impression was that the person he contacted was a member of a gang.

Upon further investigation at X, she discovered that Renjun was the one who had “leaked”her phone number, even though she had initially been labeled as a “sasaeng”by others. She realized her mistake in calling him an idol.

Upon deciding to change her number, she was informed by the store that she would also need to report the incident to the police. Consequently, she visited the investigation department and reported the individual responsible for leaking her private information and falsely accusing her of being a sasaeng.

The male idol’s manager contacted the police and the victim, apologizing on behalf of Renjun.

Currently, she is still awaiting the official statement from the idol’s side.

At the time of this revelation, NCTzens had doubts about the “victim”claims as misdialing through a name would have also resulted in saving Renjun’s phone number. Additionally, there was uncertainty about whether the person had only called him once or had made previous attempts to do so.

The entirety of the conversation she had with the idol and the underlying reason for the idol’s decision to release her contact information were not confirmed. As a result, fans called for SM to conduct a thorough investigation and take appropriate measures after verifying the facts.

Meanwhile, the sasaeng/victim’s leaked number has been removed from Bubble.
