The episode of MBC’s “I Live Alone” that aired on April 19th welcomed special guest NCT127’s Doyoung. Having lived independently for six months, Doyoung revealed, “I used to reside in a dorm with my group members. However, when my brother enlisted, I moved in with my parents and now I am living alone.”
Upon waking up, Doyoung’s first order of the day was tuning in to the dating program “Transit Love” . Despite his annoyance with shows of this nature, he admitted that they boosted his dopamine levels. In fact, he had previously watched “I Am SOLO” , “Single’s Inferno” and “Alumni Lovers” . His dedication to the show was evident as he even attempted to catch it while doing his laundry, eliciting laughter from those around him.
After completing his workout, Doyoung continued to watch the dating show while making breakfast. He shared, “I enjoy cooking and do it frequently, so I have no concerns about eating at home.”As he savored his meal and sipped on non-alcoholic beer, he remained captivated by the dating show. The panelists were amazed, exclaiming, “We’ve never seen someone so invested in dating programs like Doyoung.”
Jeon Hyun-moo inquired, “Do you empathize with the couples while watching the show?”Doyoung responded, “No, I don’t do that. As an idol, I have a different perspective.”When asked if he feels jealous of the couples, Doyoung confidently stated, “No, I don’t feel envious of them.”
Key, who is also an artist under SM Entertainment, shared, “We received mental training for this in the SM basement. The program typically lasts for 2 years.”
When questioned about whether idols nowadays date like regular people, Doyoung responded with uncertainty, stating, “I’m not sure about that.”Key then commented, “Doyoung is right. It feels like we’ve been in this mental education course for 20 years instead of the usual 2,”causing everyone to burst into laughter.
