Neal Maupay, a forward for Brentford, is gaining a reputation as the Premier League’s most skilled provocateur, with Manchester United’s Scott McTominay being his latest victim.
Despite their dominant performance in almost every statistical metric, Maupay and his Bees teammates were unfortunate not to secure a victory against Manchester United on Saturday.
Despite this, Thomas Frank’s team ultimately had to count on a last-minute goal from Kristoffer Ajer to level the score after Mason Mount had initially put the Red Devils in the lead.
Despite the significance of the goals, it was a scuffle between Maupay and McTominay in the final moments of the game that captured the attention of the media.

The French striker posted a picture of him and McTominay exchanging blows on Twitter, adding the comment: “This supporter was really eager for my jersey.”
On previous occasions, Maupay has clashed with an opposing player. Earlier this season, he and Man City defender Kyle Walker got into a heated confrontation, resulting in the England international needing to be calmed down due to a comment made by Maupay.
Recently, he engaged in a social media feud with James Maddison, when he imitated the Tottenham star’s goal celebration during Brentford’s 3-2 loss at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium earlier this year.
