The release date for chapter 3 of Negai no Astro has been confirmed for Monday, April 29, 2024, at 12 am JST in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine #22-23, as announced on Shueisha’s MangaPlus platform. However, due to time zone differences, fans outside of Japan can expect the chapter to be available on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
The previous installment of Negai no Astro featured Hibaru Yotsurugi facing a betrayal from within his own family. Shio, the oldest son of the late Kongo Yotsurugi, commanded his Hawk faction to eliminate Hibaru and Terasu. Despite this, Hibaru was able to demonstrate his incredible Astro abilities and defeat Shio’s subordinates.

Where to Read Negai no Astro Chapter 3
Ken Wakui’s followers have the opportunity to access chapter 3 of Negai no Astro for free on various Shueisha-related platforms, including the MangaPlus website and app, Viz Media’s official website, and the Shonen Jump+ app.
Aside from the Shonen Jump+ app, manga readers can access the first and latest three chapters for free on various platforms. Negai no Astro: Chapter 2 Recap
The second chapter of Negai no Astro, titled “Astro,”opens with Hibaru Yotsurugi regaining consciousness two weeks after the meteorite incident. With Terasu at his side, he takes in his surroundings and draws comparisons between the town’s devastation and a scene straight out of a movie.
As Hibaru reunites with the elderly man from the candy shop, he is relieved to see that he is still alive. However, his heart sinks as he sees the damage done to the man’s shop. Just then, Terasu informs Hibaru that the Yotsurugi family’s Hawk faction has taken advantage of the disaster.
The chapter exposes the fact that the Yotsurugi family headquarters has been seized by the Hawk faction, led by Shio Yotsurugi. Additionally, they have bought up all available supplies and redirected them to the black market, ultimately depriving civilians of these essential goods.
As Hibaru confronts them, they immediately contact their boss, Shio, who had also gained Astro powers after the meteorite event. He commands his faction members to eliminate Hibaru and Terasu, making it appear as though they perished in the disaster.
Without a doubt, Shio’s decision comes as a shock to Terasu and Hibaru. They are unable to understand why their eldest brother would command his men to end their lives. The subsequent chapter depicts the Hawk faction’s most powerful members demonstrating their mastery of Astro powers.
Despite revealing how they acquired their powers by making a wish to the star, Hibaru remains unfazed. He also discloses his own Astro abilities, using them to annihilate an adversary.
After witnessing Hibaru’s impressive powers, the Hawk faction departs. The boy instructs them to relay a message to Shio, urging him to stop bullying innocent civilians and confront him in a fair and honorable manner.
Following that, he instructs the civilians to choose any items they desire from the storage room in return for candy. The chapter concludes with everyone applauding Hibaru Yotsurugi for defending them.
Predictions for Negai no Astro Chapter 3
It is highly probable that in Negai no Astro chapter 3, the Hawk faction will make their return to Shio in order to inform him about Hibaru’s Astro abilities. This revelation is bound to catch Shio off guard.
In light of this, he will search for an alternate resolution to establish himself as the head of the family. Additionally, the chapter may introduce new characters and highlight additional Astro abilities.
