Negai no Astro: Chapter 7

According to the MANGA Plus website, Negai no Astro chapter 7 is set to come out in the 27th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 12 am JST. However, for most manga fans outside Japan, the chapter will actually be available earlier on June 2 due to time zone variations.

The preceding chapter of Negai no Astro delved into the true cause of Kou’s hostile attitude towards Kuran. It also uncovered the transformation of Kuran’s demeanor after the passing of his closest companion, Botan. Furthermore, the chapter highlighted Kuran’s mastery of Astro.

When Will Negai no Astro Chapter 7 Be Released?

As stated on the Shueisha-affiliated MANGA Plus website, chapter 7 of Negai no Astro will be available on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 12 am JST in Weekly Shonen Jump issue #27.

The seventh chapter of Negai no Astro will be available digitally for readers of the manga on various platforms associated with Shueisha, including the MANGA Plus website, the MANGA Plus app, Viz Media’s website, and the Shonen Jump+ app.

Despite the availability of free chapters on various platforms, such as the first and the latest three on Shonen Jump+, fans must have a monetary subscription to access all chapters. Additionally, subscriptions to MANGA Plus and Viz Media are necessary to read beyond the initial six free chapters.

Negai no Astro Chapter 6 Recap

Starting from where we left off in the previous chapter, Negai no Astro chapter 6, titled “Older Brother,”follows Kou as he continues to resist against Hibaru. Despite his Ashura being ineffective, he charges at his opponent using only his fists.

Despite Hibaru’s quick counter punch and request for him to give up, the chapter then shifts to a flashback. This reveals the unwavering support Kou received from his elder brother, Botan, who always had his back and protected him from any harm.

When Botan was still alive, Kuran was a completely different person. He would often smile and participate in enjoyable activities. However, everything shifted after the boy’s passing. Not only did Kuran lose his smile, but Kou also fell into a state of misery.

Kou’s animosity towards Kuran is rooted in his observation that Kuran has lost his smile. He also remembers his older brother’s aspiration to work as a bouncer at a club, as he was drawn to the concept of a rebellious individual protecting the community.

After Botan’s passing, Kuran formed the Sanmenroppi Security Squad. Despite the danger, Kou persists in battling Hibaru. In a surprising turn, Botan materializes behind Kou to offer his reassurance and protection.

Despite initially thinking it was Botan who appeared, Kou soon realizes that it was actually Kuran in disguise. The chapter uncovers that Kuran had used his transformation Astro, Cheshire Cat, to masquerade as Botan. This was apparently a result of his desire to regain the ability to smile and do silly impressions from his childhood, which granted him this power.

The boy is fully aware of the burdens of responsibility he has taken on since Botan’s passing. He has also come to understand that Kou has been doing his utmost to help him break free from those shackles.

After that, Kuran informs Hibaru that Kou has lost the throwdown because he broke the rules and intervened in the fight. The chapter concludes with Hibaru taking over the Ikebukuro Sanmenroppi Security Squad, which includes Kou and Kuran.

Negai no Astro Chapter 7: A Sneak Peek at the Future

After the events of the previous chapter, it is expected that Hibaru and Terasu will be seen discussing their next steps with Kuran in chapter 7 of Negai no Astro. Even though Kou has joined their team, he may not be pleased with the decision. However, he is likely to confide in Kuran and share his true feelings.

In the upcoming chapter 7 of Negai no Astro, Hibaru may reveal Shio’s intentions to eliminate both Hibaru and Terasu in order to become the clan leader. The chapter is expected to primarily revolve around developing the story.
