Kadokawa has shared an array of exciting details about the forthcoming original anime, Negative Positive Angler, which will be directed by Yutaka Uemura, known for his work on Saga of Tanya the Evil.
Following the recent global release of the full trailer, new visuals were unveiled, alongside the announcement of the anime’s premiere date, voice actors, and the bands responsible for the opening and ending theme songs.

The worldwide premiere of Negative Positive Angler is scheduled for October 3, 2034. This announcement was made by Kadokawa Production Studios, along with the release of new visuals and cast information.

2. New Information About Negative Positive Angler
The announcement included details regarding the opening and closing theme songs. Three-member Japanese band Van de Shop will perform the opening theme “Ito”while 96neko (also known as Kuroneko) will perform the ending theme “Shonin Yokkyu.”
Voice actors joining the cast of Negative Positive Angler include Haruka Tomatsu, known for portraying Asuna Yuki in Sword Art Online, as Alice, and Yuya Hirose, the voice behind Holm in Dungeon Meshi, as Arua.
The anime is being directed by the renowned Uemura at studio NUT, with series composition by Tomohiro Suzuki, known for his work on One-Punch Man.
Character designs and chief animation direction will be handled by Hiromi Taniguchi, a talented artist involved in many recent anime, including the upcoming remake of Ranma 1/2. Music scores will be composed by Tomoki Kikuya, adding to the series’ appeal.

Fortunately, his encounter with Hana and her friends helps him discover renewed optimism. Tsunehiro is compelled by their infectious enthusiasm and, after Hana’s encouragement, embraces fishing, deepening his bonds with his newfound friends.
He eventually starts working at the convenience store alongside Hana and Takaaki, where he experiences the true joy of fishing. This wholesome fishing anime promises to be a heartwarming journey of healing and friendship!
