The new action disaster thriller “Trigger”tells the story of the confrontation between two men with different definitions of “guns”. It is a process of solving problems between a man who should use a gun for the weak and a man who should never use a gun. Kim Nam-gil will play the current police officer “Lee Do”, a former military sniper and Olympic gold medalist who is gradually approaching a suspicious shooting accident; Kim Young-kwang will play “Moonbaek”with four-dimensional charm, a core figure in the weapons middleman. It is expected to be made public in the first half of 2025.
Kim Nam-gil will star in the Netflix TV series “Song of a Thief”this year (2023), and plays “Lee Yun”in the drama.
Kim Young Kwang starred in the Netflix TV series “The Destined Man”last year (2022), and played “Sung Yeon Woo”in the drama. The encounter between the two “abstinent male gods”has made many drama fans look forward to it.
“Plaza”, adapted from the webtoon of the same name, tells the story of two organizations that fought for hegemony in Seoul in front of the National Assembly Square in Yeouido and survived the battle. The story revolves around the life of the protagonist whose brother suddenly dies and the secret is revealed. So Ji-sub plays “Ji Seok”, who comes back 11 years later to avenge his brother; Lee Jun Hyuk plays a special role as “Ki Seok”, Ji Seok’s younger brother; Heo Junhao and An Ahn Qiang play the representatives of two organizations respectively; Qiu Yingyu plays Heo Junhao’s prosecutor son in the play; Zhao Hyun Chul plays Heo Jun Ho’s right-hand man in the play; Gong Myung plays An Ji Qiang’s organization heir in the play; Lee Beom Soo plays the representative who deals with the death of his younger brother; Cha Seung Won plays a special role as the middleman who allows the two organizations to coexist.
So Ji-sub, who returned to the small screen after last year’s “Medical Crime”, also shared the script photos of the first episode of “The Square”through his personal Instagram. It seems that filming has already started!
