Netflix Hacker Claims to Have More Arcane Season 2 Leaks, But Fans Remain Skeptical

Despite being the last installment of the Netflix series, Arcane Season 2 has not been spared from significant online leaks, suggesting that its sacred status may not be enough to protect it.

In August 2024, a major security breach caused full episodes of Arcane Season 2 to be leaked online from the streaming service.

Five episodes of the Riot Games animated series were released online, along with episodes of Dandadan, Ranma 1/2, and Terminator Zero. These episodes were marked with time-stamps, watermarks, and annotations for future music and sound effects, indicating that they were still in the process of being finalized.

The revelation was devastating for both fans and creators, especially given the immense dedication required to bring the world of Arcane to fruition on television. However, a Netflix hacker has hinted at the potential for further leaks by posting on X/Twitter, “Who’s interested in Arcane Season 2 Episodes 6 and 7?”

The individual known as @jacejohns4n online, often referred to as a “hacker,”has gained notoriety for regularly making threats to leak popular properties. Previous examples include teasing leaks for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Stranger Things Season 5, although observant individuals have pointed out that these leaks never seem to materialize.

Therefore, those who are aware of the truth find the allure of additional Arcane information to be empty.

One comment on the post stated, “Bro is lying out of his a**.”

“Did you truly leak any information or simply repost things that have already been shared?”asked another person.

Another person wrote, “You’re a fake.”

On Reddit, a similar response was seen during the alleged Sonic 3 hack, with one user commenting: Can this person please stop already? They keep saying ‘I’m going to do it! Just kidding! But I actually will!’ (They won’t actually do it). At this point, it would be best to just admit that they don’t have it/will get sued and stop talking. Good grief.”

Additionally, there has been resistance from fans. In regards to Arcane, numerous followers of the series are urging others to disregard any potential leaks, assuming they are legitimate.

“One commenter expressed their excitement for Season 2 of the show, stating that they were eagerly anticipating its release. However, they urged others to refrain from watching any leaked episodes as the show is still unfinished. They stressed the importance of respecting the hard work and dedication of the artists and only watching the show when they give it the official green light. Watching leaked episodes would only take away from the true experience of the show.”

Arcane Season 2 will be released on Netflix in November 2024. Additionally, you can learn about how Riot Games was revived in 2021, and discover all of the latest television series premiering this month.
