Netflix reveals its “most hatable series” after scathing zero-star review

Today is not a favorable day for Netflix original shows, as the platform has revealed its “most disliked series”following a zero-star review.

Netflix is well-known for its streaming service which has produced some of the top TV shows of the year, including Baby Reindeer and Bridgerton Season 3.

Despite its previous success, it has recently faced criticism for its latest series, Buying London, earning the title of “most hated series”due to a scathing zero-star review from The Guardian.

Rebecca Nicholson states in her review that Buying London is likely intended to provoke anger rather than enjoyment. She acknowledges Netflix’s skill in inciting her mild fury, but also suggests that the show could potentially be a cover for radical leftwing propaganda.

“Is this the house that will ultimately put an end to our complacency towards billionaires and reveal the false belief that hard work guarantees us luxury as nothing more than a grand deception?”

Despite facing negative publicity, Netflix has decided to use it to their advantage by incorporating the lack of stars into the show’s official marketing campaign, rather than ignoring the issue.

Announcing on social media, the streaming platform revealed, “Dubbed as the most despised TV show ever created. Creating controversy both on and off the screen. London Buyers is now available for streaming!”

“One fan responded to the review by stating, “Zero stars has completely sent me,”while another agreed and criticized Netflix for being tone deaf and causing young professionals in London to want to cancel their subscription.”

A third person gave their opinion, stating that Netflix’s decision to use a zero-star review from The Guardian for their new show Buying London in a publicity campaign was either a stroke of genius or simply genius. This person also commended the cleverness of embracing the concept of a “hate watch.”

The popular reality show, Buying London, follows the exploits of top real estate agent Daniel Daggers and his team as they maneuver through the exclusive property market in London. As Netflix has recently made available, viewers can now stream the show and see the lavish world of high-end real estate in London.
