“It’s crucial for us and Netflix to have the series out this year, which is a challenging timeline, ” he added. Ross Duffer echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the team’s commitment to a timely completion of the season.

“During Season 4, we were trimming it up to the final moments. We were integrating visual effects just a day after its release! We aim to be more organized this time… But as always, it feels like we’re scaling another mountain toward the final cut, ” Ross mentioned.

Speculation suggests that the fifth season may follow a similar split format as its predecessor, Season 4, potentially maintaining fan engagement over an extended period.
