Jazzara Jaslyn will be portraying Miss Valentine, also known as Mikita. She is a renowned South African actress, known for her performances in films such as A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits. Camrus Johnson has been cast as Mr. 5, also known as Gem, an American actor recognized for his roles in popular TV series like Batwoman.

Finally, Daniel Lasker, a well-known Zimbabwean actor known for his performances in TV shows such as Raised by Wolves, has been cast as Mr. 9 (Real Name: undisclosed) for the upcoming season of Netflix’s One Piece Live Action. The Baroque Works is an organization composed of mercenaries and bounty hunters, led by the former warlord Crocodile, that serves as the central antagonist for the Arabasta Saga. This group appears in various arcs, including Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, and Arabasta.

Mr. 9 had his debut in the Reverse Mountain arc, while Mr. 5 and his partner Miss Valentine appeared for the first time in the Whisky Peak arc. Therefore, if the Live-Action adaptation stays true to the source material, the Arabasta Saga may begin chronologically, just like in the original manga series.

Despite this, it is unlikely that the remaining arcs of the East Blue Saga will be neglected in the second season of the One Piece live-action, considering that the majority of the cast for the sequel has not yet been announced.

The final episode of the first season hinted at Smoker’s appearance, and he plays a crucial role in the Loguetown arc of the East Blue Saga. Therefore, it is best to take these speculations with a grain of salt and await official confirmation.
