Netizens Protest Against Seungri’s Opening of Nightclubs in Southeast Asia

Despite being released from prison, it appears unlikely that Seungri will be able to make a comeback in the Korean music industry. Instead, he has shifted his focus to business ventures and has been attending events in Southeast Asian countries. According to Korean media outlets, the former BIGBANG member has been preparing to launch new business activities. A close friend shared that Seungri is currently in the process of opening a club in Cambodia.

Seungri has already finished seeking investment and is prepared to launch his business. Previously, Seungri was the proprietor of the infamous Burning Sun Club, which sparked the shocking Burning Sun Scandal and revealed his involvement in crimes such as prostitution, illegal filming, and embezzlement.

On the other hand, HKSAR (China) has also addressed the allegations surrounding Seungri’s possible relocation to Hong Kong. They have stated that no visa applications have been received for any former Korean artists. The government assures that they adhere to a strict process for evaluating visa applications from foreigners and only approve those who meet the necessary requirements. Additionally, HKSAR clarified that foreign individuals are eligible for a visa-free stay in Hong Kong for a maximum of 90 days.
