Both NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM, 4th generation girl groups that debuted in the same year, have achieved success in their own right. However, tensions arose between the two groups when Min Hee-jin, the creator of NewJeans, publicly accused HYBE of using her name to promote LE SSERAFIM and allowing them to debut before NewJeans.

During the backstage interview, NewJeans exchanged greetings with Eunchae and the rest of the members. Eunchae showed friendly interactions with her fellow HYBE idols, enthusiastically shaking hands and cheering them on.
