Neverness to Everness aims to rival Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero.

As confirmed by Hotta Studio Producer, Kee Zhang, on the official PlayStation Blog, Neverness to Everness will be available to play for free. Being a mobile game, it is likely to have both free and premium currency options for players to use.

Is it a gacha game?

Hotta Studio has not yet confirmed whether Neverness to Everness is a gacha game. However, based on the game’s character-focused gameplay and its classification as a free-to-play anime game, it is highly probable that it will feature a gacha system.

It should be noted that Hotta Studios’ previous game, Tower of Fantasy, offered players the opportunity to roll on banners in order to obtain new characters and weapons. This mechanic is also present in other popular games such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.

Neverness to Everness Gameplay

On July 16, 2024, Hotta Studio released the first gameplay video for Neverness to Everness. This gave players an early glimpse at the game’s vibrant characters and urban open-world setting. Similar to Genshin Impact, NTE also offers combat based on its characters, with each unit possessing unique abilities known as Espers.

As stated by the game’s Producer, certain characters possess the ability to “utilize anti-gravity to scale skyscrapers, while others have the power to demolish surroundings.”

One of the most notable aspects of the trailer was the vehicle gameplay, where a character could be seen driving through a lively city setting. Based on the footage, it appears that players will have the ability to smoothly navigate the surroundings and even enhance their vehicles at nearby garages.

It seems that there is also an option for a personalized HQ, which in this instance was a fashionable apartment fully equipped with modern furnishings, prized possessions, and a pool.
