Players of Valorant were able to discover a new Agent being hinted at in patch 9.02, as evidenced by a voicemail and changes to the Abyss map.
Riot typically follows a predetermined schedule for releasing new maps and Agents in their 5v5 tactical shooter, and the next Agent for Valorant is just around the corner.
The developer of Valorant is notorious for teasing upcoming agents through methods like cinematics, player cards, and in-game secrets. The latest update has led players to believe that they may have uncovered another upcoming agent.
On the Valorant subreddit, a player gathered all the lore updates regarding Agent 26 in patch 9.02. This encompassed a voicemail from Sova, an e-mail from Cypher, and modifications to the Abyss map.

The footage initially presented a voicemail from Sova, who was in a state of panic as he tried to reach Brimstone to inform him about a containment cell that had been destroyed. He described the scene of the crime as filled with “metal everywhere.”
The subsequent section revealed a revised portion of Abyss, the map that had previously caused players to plummet to their demise. From there, players caught sight of the containment cell Sova had referenced, with metal vines creeping out from its entrance.
Those with a keen eye in Valorant may recall the metallic vines featured in Episode 9’s Battle Pass, which also included a player card adorned with the same vines. This could potentially be a hint at the abilities of Agent 26.

Ultimately, the most recent communication from Cypher at the Range addressed the Abyss map. He discussed the successful decoding of Scions of Hourglass file protections and the existence of two Hourglass facilities functioning as satellites for Abyss.
Although this is primarily based on player speculation, those familiar with Valorant lore would be aware of the enigmatic group known as the Scions of Hourglass, who sought to prevent the public disclosure of Radianite knowledge.
After speculation from leakers that Agent 26 may be an Initiator, one response expressed surprise at this potential class choice, noting that the combination of metal and thorns would make for an ideal power set for a radiant Sentinel.
