New Allegations Against HYBE: Protest Truck Sent by Fans for Media Play

In the morning of April 24, a protest truck was seen outside HYBE’s Yongsan building, bearing messages such as “Min Hee-jin, please refrain from involving other artists”, “Min Hee-jin, stop exploiting NewJeans and their families”, and “We stand behind NewJeans’ endeavors with HYBE”.

It was assumed that the NewJeans’ fandom was responsible for the protest truck, based on the messages. However, the Korean fans themselves are disputing this claim.

The truck’s sudden appearance is particularly unusual, as no fan groups or individual fans have come forward to claim responsibility for it. This is highly peculiar, as it is customary for those organizing a protest truck to promptly issue a statement explaining their intentions.

Due to this, numerous Korean Bunnies (devoted followers of NewJeans) are questioning whether the truck was actually sent by fans or by HYBE itself.

“A fan on SNS platform X questioned, “Why do they need a truck?”, while also accusing them of using underhanded tactics to make it seem like Bunnies are endorsing them.”

It has been discovered that Lee Gun-hee frequently publishes articles that favor HYBE, raising suspicions that HYBE may have orchestrated the protest truck and hired a reporter in an attempt to manipulate the media and give the false impression that NewJeans fans are outraged.
