Lotus Biscoff has become incredibly popular in the US, and as a result, it is now available in a McFlurry. However, acquiring it may require a long road trip.
McDonald’s has recently introduced an exciting McFlurry from Belgium to the US, adding to the list of international McFlurry options available to customers.
The Biscoff McFlurry will be exclusively offered at the McDonald’s International HQ restaurant in Chicago, Illinois, the birthplace of McDonald’s in 1940.
Recently, in June 2024, Biscoff was included on McDonald’s menus in the UK as a frappé, continuing its intermittent appearances on menus worldwide.
The Biscoff McFlurry includes vanilla soft-serve, Biscoff crumble, and drizzles of caramel sauce. While the cinnamon and brown sugar taste of the Biscoff complements the caramel perfectly, some customers were let down by the lack of additional Biscoff components.
“Snackolator, a well-known food blogger, expressed his desire for the caramel sauce to be substituted with a cookie butter sauce. He shared this announcement on his Instagram page.”
Some people were desperate for this McFlurry to be available nationwide, with one person stating, “If they don’t make this available right away, there will be consequences lol.”
“Another person remarked, “This is so backward. It’s common knowledge that the USA is a major market, so why not release the full version? SMH.”
The McFlurry will be exclusively offered at the International HQ restaurant in Chicago for a limited time of six to eight weeks. This unique McDonald’s location boasts contemporary global-themed decor, a dynamic wall map that lights up when a menu item from a specific country is featured, and a patio for customers to dine al fresco.
This McDonald’s location frequently offers global menu items for a limited time. While these items may sometimes become available at other locations across the country, there is currently no indication that this particular McFlurry will be sold at any other stores.
Fortunately, there is still a glimmer of hope as a new burger is set to be released nationwide by the end of 2024, and it will make the Big Mac seem like a mere appetizer.
