An online sighting of the Black Myth: Wukong branded graphics card has been reported. However, as with any leaked information, it is advisable to approach it with caution.
It has been four years since studio Game Science released the original teaser for Black Myth: Wukong. Since then, the excitement for the developer’s upcoming RPG has only intensified. Leaks revealing the game’s numerous bosses have fans eagerly anticipating its release date.
As players eagerly await its release, tech brands are also making their own preparations. Similar to Elden Ring, a graphics card featuring Black Myth: Wukong branding has been spotted in the wild.
According to sources, MSI has not officially announced a Black Myth: Wukong GPU on any of its social media platforms. However, a user named hongxing2020 shared images of the custom graphics cards on X/Twitter, revealing multiple angles of the alleged MSI graphics card, believed to be the all-black MSI RTX 40 Expert.
In contrast to other MSI collaborations, such as the highly themed Monster Hunter GPU, the branding for Black Myth: Wukong is more understated. The five shared images do not feature any logos for the upcoming game, but instead showcase the protagonist, ‘Destined One’ monkey, on the backplate. While still impressive, this may be a personalized GPU rather than an official product.

When asked by tech site Videocardz whether the product was a “custom or a new model”, user hongxing2020 replied with uncertainty, fueling speculation even further.
MSI is not prepared to officially reveal their GPU at this time. It is expected that Wukong will not be available until August 20, 2024, so it is likely that more information will be announced in the next few weeks.
The Expert series of GPUs introduces a fresh design and improved cooling system to the highly capable 4080 Super GPU, while also offering a lower cost compared to the original 4080 price.
