The long-awaited streaming package from Comcast, StreamSaver, has finally been revealed to include Netflix, Apple TV, and Peacock. However, many are noting that it bears a striking resemblance to traditional cable television.
On May 17, the cable giant revealed their latest bundle, which appears to evoke nostalgia for the past when cable packages were bundled together. The new bundle will provide Comcast subscribers with reduced rates for three platforms: Peacock, Netflix, and Apple TV+.
Today, pricing details for the new service, named StreamSaver, have been unveiled by Variety. The StreamSaver bundle will include the ad-supported versions of Netflix Basic and Peacock Premium, as well as Apple TV+.

StreamSaver is priced at approximately $15 per month, which is approximately 35% lower than the combined cost of purchasing all three services separately.
The response to the news is varied. For a lot of people, it is a satisfactory offer as it bundles together three well-liked services at a reduced cost.
Some are more doubtful, immediately pointing out that the service is simply a revamped version of the traditional cable TV pricing model. There is a widespread anticipation that similar issues faced with cable TV, such as increased prices and changes in service, will arise with this new service.
“Wait, are you saying they can provide all three services at a much lower cost? Doesn’t that just confirm the notion that their prices are arbitrary?”one individual questioned on X/Twitter in response to a post.
According to another source, it won’t be long before they require you to sign a one-year contract in order to adjust the price, leaving you with no opportunity to voice any complaints.
StreamSaver is following the latest trend among large media companies to package services together in order to attract budget-conscious consumers.
In February, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery revealed their plans to launch Venu Sports, a sports-focused streaming platform that will bundle content from ESPN, TNT, and Fox Sports.
In May, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery revealed plans for a streaming bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and Max. Currently, specific details about the bundle have not been disclosed.
