New CEO of ADOR Reopens Investigation into Sexual Harassment Allegations Top Priority is Stabilizing the Organization

On Sep 2nd, the music industry reported that CEO Kim had sent an email to ADOR employees on Aug 27th, the day of her appointment. In the email, she stated her intention to regularly meet with employees to discuss and collaborate on ways to ensure efficient and fair operations, and to identify opportunities for improvement.

In line with HYBE’s policy of separating production and management, CEO Kim clarified that ADOR will also adhere to this principle. Although Min Hee-jin will no longer serve as CEO, she will continue to hold the position of internal director at ADOR and will retain her responsibilities for producing NewJeans.

“She stated, “As we organize and address current matters, changes are inevitable. But rest assured, these changes are intended to foster the growth and progress of both ADOR’s employees and artists. I am determined to ensure the successful continuation of NewJeans’ initiatives with the hardworking and dedicated ADOR staff, who have consistently fulfilled their duties even in difficult situations.”

An investigation will be conducted to uncover the truth and establish preventive measures against workplace sexual harassment, bullying, and attempts to conceal the incident.

Beforehand, an ex-staff member (referred to as “B”) had alleged to have experienced sexual harassment and bullying from an executive (“A”) while working at ADOR. Additionally, they accused former CEO Min Hee-jin of unjustly interfering in the investigation. B has since departed from ADOR.

Furthermore, B has recently brought a case to the police against former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, alleging that she defamed them and violated the Personal Information Protection Act during a public disagreement between the two.
