New Character Visual for One Punch Man Season 3 Highlights Child Emperor’s Full Glory

On Friday, October 4, 2024, the much-anticipated One Punch Man season 3 revealed the character visual for Isamu, also known as Child Emperor, on the anime’s official website. This stunning new illustration is crafted by Ryosuke Shirakawa, one of the featured character designers for the upcoming season.

After the release of One Punch Man season 2, the production team remained tight-lipped about further developments until they unexpectedly shared an announcement visual. It wasn’t until February 2024 that fans received the exciting announcement trailer for One Punch Man season 3.

One Punch Man Season 3 Unveils Eighth Character Visual

On Friday, October 4, 2024, One Punch Man anime’s official sources unveiled the character visual of S-Class Rank 5 Hero Isamu, better known as Child Emperor. This new character visual, showcasing Child Emperor in action, is also by Ryosuke Shirakawa, working alongside Shinjiro Kuroda.

The visual features Child Emperor gearing up for a potential battle, highlighted by his spider-like gadgets that emerge from his backpack in full view.

Fans have likely noticed that since the anime unveiled its announcement video, the official website has been consistently adding one character design to its gallery on the first Friday of each month.

So far, the anime has showcased character visuals for seven characters. These characters include Saitama “Caped Baldy,”King, Genos “Demon Cyborg,”Fubuki “Hellish Blizzard,”Bang “Silver Fang,”Tatsumaki “Terrible Tornado,” and Kamikaze “Atomic Samurai.”

Out of the eight character visuals revealed to date, Saitama, King, Fubuki, Kamikaze, and Child Emperor were all illustrated by Ryosuke Shirakawa. The others—Genos, Bang, and Tatsumaki—were designed by Shinjiro Kuroda.

The response from One Punch Man fans to the new Child Emperor character visual has been overwhelmingly positive. Many praised the design for its compelling look, which faithfully reflects its original manga incarnation.
