New CoD: Black Ops 6 Zombies Teaser Reveals Classic Perks and Gobblegums

Treyarch released a fresh teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which caught the attention of fans who noticed several hints related to Gobblegum.

BO6 is bringing back round-based zombies for the first time in four years. The game is scheduled to release on October 25 and will feature two new maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls. Additionally, it will continue the Dark Aether storyline that was introduced in CoD: Cold War.

Furthermore, Gobblegums will also be making a comeback. This was a contentious aspect in Black Ops 3 Zombies where players were granted unique abilities, such as the ability to instantly teleport to a random spot or redirect zombies to chase after them instead of their allies.

Despite facing criticism for its expensive nature, Gobblegums have generated excitement with their return. In the latest BO6 teaser video, players have discovered a few Gobblegums that will be available, despite initial skepticism due to the long hours and in-game currency needed to obtain desired abilities.

In Black Ops 6, the confirmed Gobblegum list is based on their logo from BO3. Although there is a possibility that Treyarch may alter the functionality of these abilities, their previous descriptions are still included below.

  • Perkaholic: Gives the player all Perk-a-Colas in the map
  • Profit Sharing: Points you earn are also received by nearby players and vice versa
  • Stock Option: Ammo is taken from the player’s stockpile instead of their weapon’s magazine. This allows the player to fire single-round weapons in fully-automatic fire mode
  • Cache Back: Spawns a Max Ammo Power-Up

Fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to experience the new Zombies content firsthand.

“At last, Gobblegums have made a comeback! The return of Zombies has been eagerly awaited,”one player exclaimed.

Despite this, certain players are concerned that Activision may take it too far by turning Gobblegums into a micro-transaction.

A second user added, “I have no doubt that Activision will go overboard with the monetization, it’s almost certain.”

Regardless of which side of the debate you are on regarding the return of Gobblegums, excitement for Zombies is currently at an unprecedented level.
