The popular franchises Call of Duty and The Boys have had several crossovers throughout MW2, MW3, and Warzone. However, players have recently discovered a subtle Easter egg in Season 4 of the Amazon series.
Crossovers have become a common sight in Call of Duty, featuring renowned franchises such as The Walking Dead and even Dune. Among the fan favorites is The Boys, with Operators based on popular characters like Homelander and Starlight, and numerous events spanning Warzone, MW3, and MW2.
The collaboration has now taken a different turn, as CoD players discovered an Easter egg within the show. The first episode of The Boys Season 4, which recently premiered on Amazon Prime, contains the referenced Easter egg.
When Vought is searching for potential new members to join The Seven, the show’s team of superheroes on par with the Avengers, one of the profiles displayed is for a character known as “Wrangler.”
Despite only appearing briefly onscreen, Wrangler’s special skills, including “Quick Scope”and “Slide Cancel,”were listed and confirmed by a screenshot shared by the reddit user ‘Eclitzz.’
In the world of gaming, there are two techniques that have proven to be effective for skilled players. The first involves swiftly taking out enemies with precise sniping after scoping in. With the inclusion of these references, it is uncertain whether this indicates the potential for additional The Boys content in both MW3 and Warzone. However, there are numerous collaborations to anticipate, such as the ongoing Gundam event and the speculated Fallout collab in Season 4 Reloaded.
