Part three of the Ultra Unlock bonuses in Pokemon Go has the potential to be a goldmine for easily obtaining the elusive XL Candy, causing excitement among the community.
In addition to introducing the new and radiant Togedemaru and showcasing numerous Steel-type Pokemon in the wild and Raids, the Strength of Steel event also provides extra XL Candies for standard catches and successful Nice or better Throws.
To make the most of this event, a Reddit post from user ‘Exaskryz’ featured a comprehensive list of viable attackers that can help you obtain even more XL Candy. By investing in their power-ups, you can achieve more victories in Raids and the Go Battle League (GBL).

As a result, fans were eager to discuss the major highlights of the event. They were particularly thrilled about the XL Candy rewards, which allowed them to potentially evolve Steelix, Skarmory, and Galarian Stunfisk for use in the Ultra League.
Upon hearing this, a trainer posed the question, “What about UL Bronzong? Will it require XLs to reach the CP limit?”To which another trainer responded that it could prove to be extremely valuable in the Limited Cup meta.
In regards to the Master League, a player expressed doubt over the OP’s inclusion of Metagross in the Open tier, arguing that it is surpassed by Dusk Mane Necrozma. However, the OP defended their decision by pointing out that Metagross is still ranked #57 (#100 in Shadow form), placing it in the top 10%. This serves as evidence that this Pseudo Legendary still holds a significant position in the meta.
Steel types are highly formidable in battle due to their ability to withstand attacks from powerful types like Dragon, Ice, and Fairy. This makes them an ideal choice for countering Raid Bosses and a reliable option for switching in during battles in the GBL.
The Steel Strength event will take place from Thursday, July 25 at 10 AM until Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 8 PM (in the local time zone).
Don’t forget to activate the Mega Evolutions of Scizor and Steelix in Pokemon Go during the event in order to obtain even more XL Candies from your catches.
