New Evidence in One Piece Chapter 1123 disproves widely-held belief about Shanks

For a long time, it was thought that Shanks possessed the most powerful Conqueror’s Haki. However, One Piece Chapter 1123 has finally disproven this belief.

In the latter part of One Piece, it becomes clear that Haki is just as crucial, if not more so, than Devil Fruits. Nearly every formidable character possesses formidable Haki, and only a select few have mastered the use of Conqueror’s Haki.

Despite witnessing many skilled and formidable users of Conqueror’s Haki, none have displayed the level of mastery and strength exhibited by Shanks. This leads us to believe that he possesses the most potent Haki. Nevertheless, in Chapter 1122, when Emeth unleashes Joyboy’s Haki, it becomes apparent that there may indeed be a Haki-user with even greater power.

After much anticipation, One Piece Chapter 1123 has officially confirmed this fact. During the chapter, as the Straw Hats flee from Egghead alongside the giants, Dorry and Broggy disclose that Conqueror’s Haki may possess even greater power than that of Shanks.

Despite it being made apparent in the previous chapter with Joyboy’s use of Haki, this revelation dispels a long-standing notion about the capabilities of the infamous red-haired pirate. It is evident that Joyboy possesses a stronger Haki than Shanks. As he is destined to have a strong bond with Luffy, we anticipate that our hero will eventually reach the same level of strength and surpass Shanks’ renowned Conqueror’s Haki.
