New Feature Added to Black Ops 6 Zombies After Years of Requests from Players

Black Ops 6 introduces a new save and quit feature to address the frustration of losing progress during a Zombies run.

After a four-year hiatus, Black Ops 6 brings back the highly anticipated round-based Zombies mode. In this format, teams of up to four players are tasked with surviving endless waves of zombies.

BO6 includes a primary mission that must be accomplished, but players have the option to continue battling once all objectives are achieved. This then transforms into a challenge of endurance to determine how many rounds your team can endure while confronting progressively tougher adversaries.

Keeping this in consideration, it is possible for certain matches to go on for many hours. For those who enjoy playing alone, there is an option available to pause a Zombies match and resume it at a later time without disrupting your record-breaking progress.

During a Zombies match, players have the option to pause their solo game. If there is no activity for a certain period of time, the game will be automatically saved. To resume, players can load the saved file.

You are able to save your match at any point, as long as you are at full health and not downed, dead, or currently involved in an exfil. If there is a period of inactivity, the game will automatically save your progress to prevent any loss.

If the BO6 servers experience a disruption or your internet connection is lost, solo players have the option to load a previously saved game close to the time of disconnection and resume from that point.

In the event that you disconnect from a squad match, but the host is still active, you can rejoin and spectate for a short period before resuming the match.

In private matchmaking, players are able to join a friend’s game regardless of distance, as long as the host has available space and their party is set to joinable.

It should be noted that playing Zombies requires an internet connection, even when playing alone.
