New Helldivers 2 Warbond ‘Polar Patriots’ Update

Polar Patriots, the next premium warbond for Helldivers 2, is now available and it’s quite impressive. With a variety of capes, armor, and new weapons and tools, you can fully embrace the icy theme, Helldiver. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect from Helldivers 2’s Polar Patriots Warbond.

The latest warbond, featuring snowy camouflage to match the icy worlds in Helldivers 2, will be released on May 9, 2024. This edition includes three new weapons, three utilities, and various other cosmetic items for players to acquire. The CW-36 Winter Warrior armor is designed for perfect camouflage in snowy environments. Its ability to blend in allows for surprise attacks that catch enemies off guard. The armor has a white color with yellow accents on the breastplate and leggings, resembling the appearance of cold assault stormtroopers from Star Wars.
The patriotic volunteers of the Test Subjects for Super Earth Citizen Advancement Programme thoroughly pressure-tested the Armor (CW-22 Kodiak). Their sacrifice will always be remembered. The suit has a metallic, white appearance with beige accents throughout.
Armor (CW-4 Arctic Ranger) – “Features a nifty utility belt boasting handy pockets that can be filled with any number of things – pocket knives, mementos, interesting rocks, Terminid tentacles, bits of bots, etc.” This armor looks completely different compared to the other two suits, with it taking on a vivid blue color and bright yellow trimmings.
This weapon, the AR-61 Tenderizer, lives up to its name as a formidable tentacle-tearer. It boasts powerful stopping power, but its small magazine size means each shot must be carefully aimed. Its design appears to be inspired by the Battle Rifle from the Halo franchise, potentially with a burst fire feature.
The SMG-72 Pummeler is a weapon that may have a slower rate of fire compared to other SMGs, but its concussive rounds have the power to disorient and disfigure your enemies. As the saying goes, “Good things come to those who wait,”and Helldivers who use this weapon will surely reap the rewards. However, some may view it as a regular SMG with concussive capabilities.
The PLAS-101 Purifier, also known as the “Weapon”, operates by setting a trap and holding the trigger until the target charges at you. As they get closer, you are advised to maintain a calm smile until the ideal moment to release the trigger and unleash a powerful electric blast, causing significant damage. Despite its shotgun-like appearance, this weapon utilizes electricity as ammunition.
The utility labeled as “G-13 Incendiary Impact”appears to be a grenade that has the ability to transform anything it comes in contact with into ashes.
The secondary weapon, the Utility (P-113 Verdict), is a gas-operated pistol that operates through a semi-automatic mechanism.
Motivational Shocks Utility – This utility appears to give players a boost after being hit by an attack.
The newest warbond includes three unique capes that correspond with the three armor sets’ outfits.
The premium warbond also includes three banners that correspond with the outfits of the three armor sets, similar to the capes.
The Helldiver has three different emotes. The first appears to be a calling gesture, while the second involves spreading imaginary cash on the floor. The third emote resembles playing the air guitar.
