New Horror Film Outperforms Mel Gibson Classic in One Gruesome Aspect

Despite being released around Halloween, Damien Leone’s forthcoming horror film, Terrifier 3, is a holiday-themed movie that guarantees a more ominous atmosphere and a surplus of viciousness from Art the Clown (played by David Howard Thornton) during his Santa incarnation.

If the third installment is at least half as brutal as Terrifier 2 (and that terrifying bedroom scene), then viewers are in for a thrilling experience. The crew has promised even more in the threequel – more kills, a deeper backstory, and an abundance of blood.

Despite the controversy surrounding its release for its violent brutality, Tinsley’s work on the makeup for Mel Gibson’s R-rated biblical epic The Passion of the Christ is still considered quite an accomplishment.

However, Terrifier 3 took it up a notch by incorporating the most blood the team had ever encountered, surpassing all previous experiences.

“What struck me as particularly impressive was when Olga shared with us that Christian Tinsley and his team mentioned this was the largest amount of blood they had ever utilized.”

Upon witnessing their eyes bulging and hearing their words, I was filled with a sense of awe and gratitude, as it was an incredible honor.

Olga enthusiastically expressed that witnessing the production of Terrifier films in person was the most exciting experience. She noted that they used copious amounts of fake blood, comparing it to water, although it was quite costly.

“I am fascinated by how detail-oriented Damien is when it comes to the viscosity and color of blood,”she expressed. “Observing the FX team use various equipment to achieve their desired effects is truly impressive.”

Producer Phil Falcone, who has been involved in the practical effects of all the Terrifier movies, added to the conversation and stated that Damien has proven him wrong on numerous occasions in regards to the gore.

“As he joked about the amount of blood squirting out for hours, I couldn’t help but think, ‘There’s no way there’s that much blood in a body.’ But he reassured me, ‘Don’t worry, you’ll love it.’”

Just like its predecessors, Terrifier and Terrifier 2, the third film will also utilize practical effects. Based on these remarks, it seems like it will be a gory Halloween once again.

“The release date for Terrifier 3 is set for October 11, 2024 in theaters.”
