Christmas 2025 will have a spooky twist with the highly anticipated release of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. A leaked script has surfaced, giving us our first glimpse into the game, which is being developed by ScottGames. However, there is speculation surrounding the authenticity of the leaked material.
Whether you were familiar with the original game franchise or not, the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s caused a major division among horror movie fans. While the first film was a box office success and recouped its costs before even hitting theaters, it also faced criticism for its portrayal of the story (check out our review here).

ScottGames, the creator, has released four pages of the sequel’s script online, although only one of them is authentic. Fans are now tasked with deciphering which is the real one, and they have already begun sharing their theories.
One fan commented on X/Twitter, saying, “Is it just me or are none of these good?”Another responded, “This is reminiscent of Ryan Reynolds’ work.”
A third individual commented, “I’m not sure what we’re supposed to do with this information.”
“Without a doubt, the real one will be the worst,”a fourth person grumbled.
Each page highlights a distinct scene and group of characters, leaving fans with minimal understanding of their context. In the conclusion of Five Nights at Freddy’s, things were still uncertain and the Yellow Rabbit’s fate remains uncertain.
During the scenes, Abby and Vanessa confront Toy Chica, who is a variation of the antagonist featured in the second game. Meanwhile, General Everly and Captain Nelson converse about the animatronics, while the pizzeria welcomes new characters Gemma and Darrin. Additionally, Mike informs Vanessa that he has a task to complete.
Despite the fact that only three out of four scenes showcase a child, viewers have already noticed something that has been troubling them, regardless of its authenticity.
One fan expressed disappointment in the fact that the movies were geared towards children. They believed that it would have been better received by horror fans and could have broken box office records if it had been made differently. This fan also noted that the original generation of FNAF fans are now adults.
