New information about One Piece Season 2 revealed by fans

One Piece enthusiasts have discovered an unexpected casting decision for the upcoming Season 2 of the live-action series, hinting at a pivotal scene to come.

The production of Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 is currently underway, and we have been receiving numerous updates. Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has confirmed his involvement, and the cast has been expanded to include several new stars and characters.

A recent discovery, made by examining a performer’s resume and conducting some online investigation, has revealed an unannounced addition to the show. Fans have uncovered details that suggest Nahum Hughes will be portraying Bartolomeo in the upcoming season, generating a great deal of excitement.

The discovery that Hughes now includes Bartolomeo on his acting CV online was made by members of a One Piece live-action Discord server who pieced together the information. It is now believed that Hughes used the pseudonym Giovanni during auditions and screen tests for the character.

Hughes was on their radar due to rumors that he was one of the actors filming scenes for Loguetown along with several other stars.

Despite being a relatively young performer with a few credits to his name, it is believed that Bartolomeo will have a significant role in the film, appealing to diehard fans rather than just making a brief cameo appearance.

The topic of discussion has been sparked regarding the content of One Piece Season 2. It should be noted that Bartolomeo’s character does not appear until the Dressrosa Arc, which is over 600 episodes into the anime. This is a significant difference from where the live-action adaptation currently stands, and realistically, it is unlikely to ever reach that point.

Despite not making an appearance until Luffy’s execution in Loguetown, it is now believed that we will see that scene and potentially some additional dialogue, adding a new perspective to the entire event. This unexpected development adds an intriguing element to the already ambitious production.

In addition to their work on The One Piece, a top-down reboot of the anime, Netflix is also currently undertaking another Straw Hats endeavor.
